From Stage to Field: Bringing Sustainable Mobility to Life with ITS.be and Elia

Two recent projects that show the full spectrum of our work — from public engagement and visualization to operational rollout and on-the-ground support.

1. On Stage at the ITS.be Congress (24 October)

ITS.be moved to a new venue — the Wolubilis theatre — offering a much larger stage. Peter Van der Perre invited me to recreate the spirit of our “Mobility Mode of the Day” live on stage.

With ITS.be partners and the Maestromobile team (Guillaume Servonnaz & Diego Eggermont), we illustrated the full range of mobility modes — bicycles, light vehicles, and public transport — on a single stage.

Thanks to Peter Van der Perre, Guillaume Servonnaz, Diego Eggermont, Jasper Marien and all partners for the collaboration.

2. In the Field with Elia — Bressoux Service Center (7 November)

As project manager for vehicles & processes, I led the first Elia service center roll-out. On 7 November, 17 technicians handed over their internal combustion vans and received their new electric utility vehicles.

On site, they received complete support: driving, car policy briefings, equipment transfer, vehicle weighing and verification. Manufacturers and converters were present: Renault, Ford, Sortimo.

Conclusion

Two different settings — one shared ambition: turning sustainable mobility concepts into real, operational outcomes. At Next Mobility we combine engagement, design and implementation to help organisations move forward, literally and sustainably
