Sustainable Mobility Workshop for SeGEC – Inspiring Change in the Education Sector

SeGEC (the umbrella organization for Catholic schools in Belgium) wanted to integrate sustainable mobility into its annual study day on March 17, 2025, by raising awareness and co-creating practical solutions tailored to the specific needs of its school network.

Our Approach:

  • Inspiring Introduction (40 minutes) : A highly engaging presentation on current trends in Sustainable Mobility, including infrastructure, taxation, transport modes, and workplace organization. Real-life examples tailored to the SeGEC context were used to spark creativity and encourage participation.
  • Breakout Sessions (60 minutes): Small-group brainstorming focused on specific mobility challenges identified by participants (e.g., commuting, professional travel, emissions reduction). Each group collaboratively identified and prioritized practical solutions.
  • Plenary Synthesis (20 minutes): A collective wrap-up session to consolidate key takeaways, define priority areas, and outline concrete next steps for a dedicated post-event working group.
